Examinations and Evaluations
Success comes to those who preserve in their attempts. So make consistent efforts to study well and attend all exams without fail.
The academic performance of the student is monitored and evaluated throughout the year. In order to have a continuous assessment the various academic activities and co-curricular of each child in the class, are carefully observed and the general assessment is recorded in the comprehensive progress report card every month
There is no monthly test at this level. However written examinations (terminal examination) are conducted for the children of KG also at the end of every term. KG students are evaluated based on scholastic and co – scholastic skills.
Students of Std I – IX will be evaluated based on Formative (40 marks) and Summative Assessment . (60 marks)
Periodical Cycle Tests, unit tests & Model Exams will be conducted for Std X, XI & XII
Promotion Rules
- A student should have an attendance of 75% of the working days.
- A system of continuous evaluation is followed. The class teacher is keeping track of each student’s performance for the whole year. An average assessment will be made based on the year’s performance in the Monthly test, Quarterly, Half yearly and Annual Examinations.
- Promotion will be given on the basis of “Promotion Norms” set by the panel.
Toppers
Awarding class toppers and subject toppers:
Endowment prizes and certificates will be given to the students who score the top marks of class (LKG to VII ) and to those who score the maximum marks of class (X, XI and XII ) in a particular subject in an academic year at the direction of the Principal.
