    General Secretary’s Message

    In the society and its people, Schools play a greater role in the sphere of academic, social, economic, mental, moral and physical development of its children. In the words of Guru Nanak Devji’s that “real education enables a man to gain self – realization and self-manifestation. A really educated man is one who enlightens his mind with the divine knowledge and realizes himself, leading to character development that is right for the society.”

    Guru Nanak Educational society believes that education leads to empowerment of individuals, strengthening organizations and communities for overall development of the country. Built on these principles, Guru Nanak Matriculation Hr. Sec. School is an institution of repute, in pursuit of all – round excellence through education. Our institution is dedicated to the mission of development of children, imparting technology based quality education that provides all learners with capabilities they require to become economically productive, develop sustainable livelihoods, contribute to peaceful and democratic societies and enhance individual well–being.

    The Guru Nanak Educational Society leaves no stone unturned for providing the required infrastructure for the school like ventilated classrooms, high tech & well equipped lab facilities & library, a play area for physical activities, computer labs with latest technology and LAN facility, teacher resource center, CCTV surveillance for security of all at the institution. Guru Nanak Educational Society strives to ensure that the best facilities are created along with good faculty at the school for imparting the right education to children in one of Chennai’s fastest developing areas, namely Velachery.
